steve and everyone else-
the alignment problem in the rear has been a sticky issue. the shims are
.3mm thick, not 3mm, very thin. nobody, meaning hunter or any other
alignment firm makes shims for this vehicle that i know of. saab does say
that 2 shims can be used. maybe saab does not want to compromise the
integrity of the rear axle/brake/suspension setup at the wheel hub where
the shims are used. i do know that it takes about 2mm of shim to correct
approx. to bring 2.5 neg. camber into spec. sagging springs can be a problem, but unlikely on younger, lower mileage cars. the problem may lie
in the 4 links(2 on each side) that go from the center of subframe out to
each wheel, there are 8 bushings, maybe the links are soft, causing a bow
or flex. camber bolts would be nice.
