Hi all I have a 1999 9-5 2.3L with 125k
My car had a problem with starting in the cold last week and i had to tow it to my indy and he fixed the problem saying the engine was flooded because I tried to hit the gas while starting the car to get it to click, which is why the car wouldnt start. When I asked him why my car didn't start the first time he said he wouldn't know why that happened. Anyway he gave me the $100 bill and I left.
The car started fine the next two days but now again it wont start. By not starting I mean the first time it clicks for a while then finally turns on but then immediately shuts off. Then my next attempts to start consist of just constant cranking but the car never starts.
I've tried all methods such as getting Sunoco gas instead of mobile and I've tried putting the car in "on" mode for a minute before cranking the car.
I had my crank sensor replaced less than 6 months ago so I doubt that that's the problem?
Any help or suggestions??????
