Hey everyone,
Just picked up my used 2000 Saab 9-5 5sp(base 2.3 w/premium pkg) a couple weeks ago. I noticed the other day that my car would not roll freely when on an incline but it wasnt a huge deal and i didnt think much of it. Then today, it was 10 degrees here in Michigan and the car would still not roll freely but was even more hesitant to move when I engage it in gear! Like when I reversed going in and out with the clutch the car would practically stop when I pushed the clutch down for a moment. AND it was screetching each time I engaged!! The parking brake was down btw, just so you know im not an idiot :) That being said, my european specialty mechanic recently adjusted the parking brake because it wouldnt keep the car stopped unless it was at the very top notch. They also did a brake fluid flush. Could either of those have anything to do with this problem? What the heck could be going on??? Any input would be appreciated, and sorry for the long post. I LOVE this BB by the way and I've learned a lot. I also LOVE my new car (other than this hopefully minor issue).
