Hey- I agree the 9-5's is a little less 'on the mark' than BMW, MB.. however, as I've been hunting to replace my 2001 9-5 wagon, the three cars I've been shopping are.. BMW 5 wagon, BMW 3 wagon and for a moment of dillusion, the MB E-class. True -there not all the same price, but for that size car, with features we're all spoiled by, they're all cross shoppable. Yet, the 9-5 is still the one I want, EVEN though the lease rates on the BMW 525xit are virtually equal. I cant say I won't wind up in a 5 series afterall (when the money's the same and the car is more modern and safe it's hard to ignore), but I WANT the new 9-5. For it's light, fun engine, for it's socially more acceptable brand image, for it's terrific space utilisation. If only there was some supply to sell me one. Naturally, I understand why sedan drivers are finding the Acura, Infiniti and Lexus appealing, but without wagon options, the list gets shorter, the Saab looks better.
