Lowered AERO: shims+spacers asking for trouble?

Car is lowered 35mm, and camber is of course rear campber is of-of-spec. First of all, I'm thinking of getting a local shop to manufacture a single shim "wedge" in lieu of 3 shims per side out of aircraft aluminum so the hub can seat properly. If I get this done, am I asking for trouble by also adding spacers? I love my Klingons but the offset is terrible on these wheels. I want that Audi S4 look where the wheels are at the corners of the car. If I could only have some Klingons done in 18" with a proper offset and no bead around the outside of the lip...
