I just replaced mine, and what a difference it has made in the smothness of the shifting. it is a night and day thing. What I pulled out was quite black, and smelt funny, they car has 116k, and I doubt it has ever been changed, at least there is no record of it, I will probably do it again in a few months to get some more of the old stuff out. (from my understanding, unlike an oil change you only get about half of the old tranny fluid out when drained). I used Mobil 1 full synth.
