I sure sounds like a bushing or ball joint problem. Bushings can look fine but be badly worn - the only way to check is to apply lots of pressure and look for deflection. There are only a few things to check up front (pay particular attention to the ball joints - you don't want those failing), but there is a LOT of rubber in the rear suspension. I would start at the wheels and work your way in, checking everything. Even the subframe bushings could be at fault here, though that seems unlikely.
