I've been scanning the boards for hours and finally decided to post...

SUNROOF
My sunroof started producing a clicking noise when closing on the passangers side. I read the symptoms and fixes - however- two questions remain.
1) If it's clicking [every other time] does it mean that it's already broken or in the process of breaking? Is there anyway I can stop while it's clicking before it snaps and jams?
2) Once I resign to the fact...how much for a new part? Must the dealer do the labor or can I install it myself? I imagine greasy finger prints all over my headliner and a $500 bill. No thanks.

SHOCKS:
Rear end unstable over bumps at highway speeds, fishtailing sensation and deteriorating/harsh feeling. I've read a hundred posts but still can't decide between OEM/Sachs Aero spec sports, Bilstein HD and Koni's on soft setting. I have nothing against my stock Aero ride but I don't like buying an "inferior product" (that being the Sachs with OEM stigma) when I could go with one of these high end absorbers.
Also, I noticed that most "rave" reviews have been lpt folks upgrading non Aero suspensions. Will a fresh set of Aero spec Sachs be less sophisticated than a set of Bilstein's/Konis on my Aero? I think I'd rather go with a new set of OEM Aero struts for the rear but the allure to go with uber-performance/comfort over stock OEM is strong. The Koni FSD (frequency selective dampening) shocks sounded revolutionary and stirred a great amount of enthusiasm; then I checked the price; $700 for a full kit so 350 for a set of two.
Obviously the bilstein/koni upgrade over the base/lpt absorbers makes a huge difference; but does it really make a noticeable difference when replacing worn Aero absorbers?
