Amazing what cleaning the throttle plate did

Thanks for the suggestion in my earlier post regarding cleaning the throttle plate. I removed the rubber hose from the intake manifold and found the throttle plate and bore to be covered with oil slime (from earlier turbo failure, I presume). I cleaned the oil out with Simple-green. I know, not throttle plate cleaner. But man did it desolve the oil. I also cleaned something upstream in the rubber hose, I think it was the air temperature sensor? Looked like a thermistor anyway. I drove the car this morning and no hestitation. Amazing. I then drove it again tonight and still running as it should. Thanks for the advice. Love this board.
