You've got an engine noted for its longevity when properly cared for, with low enough mileage that it should do well even if it wasn't treated as nicely until you got it. Sludge would be the most likely enemy, and you've addressed that with the oil work you've done. The build quality of the 9-5 overall is excellent, as witness the reliability stats you'll find online. You own it free and clear, so your payments are zero. If you put $1000 or even $1500 even into repairs for a year, you're not doing badly on overall cost.
Consider: Lease something new and cheap at $200/month? You're spending $2400 a year, way more than you'll likely have to spend on the Saab. Buy something newer? Check the depreciation after three years or so versus what you'll see with your Aero. Can you get hit with something big? Yes, of course--but the odds are better where you are than with the guaranteed loss of depreciation. And you've got another year of warranty coverage; see what the next 3-4 months bring. If you really like the drive, you won't do better for the money.
