I changed the fluid yesterday with Mobil 3309 and added a Lubegard additive. I also changed out the slider mount for the torque rod. I had changed it early on and kept my old one. I never seen a mount with this much play in it. Unfortunately the new one was the same way. I took the old one and filled it with windshield polyurethane to fill the slide gaps. I installed it yesterday. This softened the hit considerably and my wife reports this morning that the transmission has yet to hit a all and is working properly(was doing it every time). I will do all I can not to do the valve body. The car did not do this when I purchased it and maybe it can be flushed continually and treated with Lubegard until it might subside. I can only hope. By the way the mount change helped the harmonics a lot at idle.
On another point watch those caps on the CV nuts on the front axle. I was installing ceramic pads yesterday and was going to rotate the rotor to clean well with brake cleaner and my hand slid and my left thumb was cut severly with the center cap. That thing is a knife in hiding. The wife tried to take me to the Hospital (it is bad) but I did not have 6 hours to wait and about 4+ bills(kill the savings of DIY) to spend so I worked on it myself. It just very badly cut the outer skin back in a quarter sized area. Watched out for those things! Have someone rotate your rotors from the other wheel. Nothing to grab to in the side you are working on. Thanks again.
