Where right now, it's bright sunshine, temp in the 50's and not a trace of snow anywhere in town. Front wheel drive cars tend to understeer as a rule. Your front tires only have so much grip on the road, and if you are using any of it to accelerate or decelerate, there is less left for cornering. A neutral throttle helps you get around corners. When you get to snow country, find an open parking lot and experiment a bit. Good luck.
