hoyabob2003 provided an good description for hooking up a bluetooth adaptor in January. I 'd like to get a clarification about the wiring using the Motorola 850 bluetooth box with the SAAB plug.
What happens with the blue/white and gray/white wires on the SAAB plug? Do they go to the orange and blue wires from the 850 kit? If so, which way are they paired? Here's what I have figured out so far for mating the wires:
"B. Wire Colours 6 pin Motorola Connector
Pin 1 Red - 12V direct to battery - always live Red
Pin 2 Red\Blue - 12V live with ignition on Green
Pin 3 Green - Microphone Ground na- Use car mic
Pin 4 Black - Ground Black
Pin 5 Yellow - Radio Mute Orange
Pin 7 Grey\White - Telephone lineout + ???
Pin 8 - Blue\White - Telephone lineout Ground ???
Pin 10 - Grey\Brown - Microphone + na- use car mic
Second question is about the fused connections. Can I tap into the SAAB plug, or do I need to use the Motorola supplied fuses a wires. The wires that come with the kit are huge - must be 14 guage, whereas wires on the SAAB adaptor is pretty thin. I don't see that the Motorola kit will draw much, but then I don't want to smoke anything.
Thanks in advance.
