My 2001 9-5 wagon does not have the LATCH system. But it does have anchor points behind the rear seats (you have to fold the seats forward to access them). Our car seat has a tether at the top that attaches to the anchor points. And the seat belt straps in the bottom of the car seat. The seat belts have a locking mechanism on the buckle, which makes them easy to use for a car seat.
