I made a (what could be a huge) mistake today... I accidentally topped off my brake reservoir with power steering fluid. The car was off and I realized my mistake immediately after doing it... Here's what I did.

Promptly siphoned out the break reservoir (the brake fluid was brown/gold and the PS fluid clear) Most of what came out was clear. You could tell the difference… clearly the power steering fluid was sitting on top. I then refilled the reservoir with brake fluid and siphoned that off - I did that twice.

Question... think that got it or should I take it in for a brake system flush?

If I need it flushed, is it safe to drive or will I damage it severely with what is probably a fairly small amount of power steering fluid in the brake system?

Any comments or help would be appreciated.
