I know it's altitude related. I live at 6000 feet. At sea level it doesn't quite hit the read and at 11,000 feet it goes about half way. Remember this isn't real "boost" guage like in the 9000's is more of an "air mass" guage that reads volume of air rather than pressure. But there is some correlation to boost. The T7 allows for a certain amount of air to produce the specific torque output. At high altitude it requires more air and thus more volume. It's also a digital representation which can be programmed with a tech II.
