My 2003 9-5,120K, has lost some of the paint off the triangle just above the rear view mirror as well as on the black paint at the bottom of the mirror stalk, only on the driver,s side. What gives ? The garage said today its from corrosion from the winter roads, they stated its cosmetic and I am responsible ,its not covered by the warranty on the paintwork. They will give me a quote from their body shop. Also the blue paint off the SAAB decal in front has worn off, again they indicated from chemical corrosion from road salts etc., I am responsible for the replacement of the decal, at the cost of Can$20.40 and 1/2 hour labor i.e.Can $44.90. Is all this on the level? I dont want to split hairs over such minor issues,but I did not have these annoyances with my 2001 LPT ,even after 140K. I fear about other things they might find me responsible for at lease end.
