Thanks Dean and SWEDECAR for the input. The 60k major service was done last September by a Saab specialist, who is listed on this site. The tranny shifts ok but the indy says that the fluid is a "bit dirty"(should have flushed it instead). The indy didn't mention anything specific. Sounds like he's trying to figure out the exact cause of it. Will post further info when available. Meantime, I crossed my fingers and hope for the minor service instead of a new tranny. Btw, is it drivable? I wonder if I should have it check by dealer if the indy says I need a new tranny.
