FYI- I found a reliable source for D1S hid/xenon bulbs

Hey gang,
I found a liquidator (Peter P.) who intercepted a broken bulk shipment of XenStart D1S bulbs from Philips in Germany to an auto manufacturer in the United States. The bulbs are advertised as new, repackaged by his staff and resold on ebay. I ordered two and upon receipt yesterday I noticed that the return wire shield on one of the bulbs was broken. I informed the seller and prompty returned the broken bulb for a new one. Seller claims bulbs undergo damage control prior to shipping to ensure the brittle ceramic sheath is intact; highly probable that damage occured during shipment.
I swapped one of the bulbs (5 minute and a gash on my knucle courtesy of the fuse box next to the battery) and the new bulb does appear much brighter with a bit of yellow color; this is typical of brand new bulbs. Philips bulbs undergo color-shift to a crisper blue color after 500 hours of use. This suggests that the bulbs are new as advertised.
Price is $80 per bulb plus minor shipping and insurance charges. His email is pwrbook1 at ix.netcom.com.
That said, my used bulbs are on ebay for sale. If you need a replacement for your bluer post color shirt xenons snap them up. I have two if you need two.
