I would do it yourself if you can. The Aisin transmission's reliability depends upon using the correct fluid. Personally, I don't trust the shops to "really" use the correct fluid. 3309 is not your everyday transmission fluid. Lots of fast-lube shops don't even know what it is - ah, red fluid, let's use Dexron! NOT! Buy a case of Toyota Type-IV fluid and drop the drain plug (15/16" or 24MM box wrench). You will only be able to drain short of 4 quarts that way and the transmission holds 8.5 quarts. After a few drains and refills, most of the fluid will be new. If you change your own motor oil, just do the transmission at the same time for the next 3 or 4 oil changes. Then you know it will be done right.
