I recently installed Koni adjustables and Eibach springs on my 2002 Aero Wagon. I set the konis at 50% stiffness and although the ride is noticeably stiffer than the stock setup, I think it's acutally better overall. I was geeting too much oscillation with the stock setup, but that might have been due to the rear shocks and springs being worn. Turn in is now much sharper and the car is flatter during transitions. My rear springs started to compress resulting in the rear of the wagon "sagging" compared to the front.
I compared the uncompressed lengths of the springs and noticed that the stock springs were shorter than the Eibachs (I know that ther is no direct correlation to loaded height due to difference in spring thickness, etc.). In addition, I set the Koni perches at the higher setting to accomodate for the added weight our wagon is always carrying due to the Thule cargo box, bike racks, and kid strollers.
