New air intake pipe

Hello Aeroers,
I replaced the air intake pipe this weekend with the new one (5327424) on my '02 Aero S and '03 Aero W. I got them from the dealer for $15.00 ea.
Wow, the old pipe is quite restrictive...the new one is a lot beefier. I have the K&N filter in both, and now the performance improvement is tangible...effortless acceleration and coasting...and the turbo sounds good!
Time wise, this is not a easy job. Things are tight and you should take the splash guards off. To make matters worse the hose clamp on my '03 Aero had rusted and the screw wont turn. I had to to cut the clamp off with quite a bit of effort. Anyways worth all that. One of the best upgrades. Its surprising why Saab had those restrictive air intakes on the '02 and some '03's. Good thing they have the new one.
