Nigel, sounds like several things have been done to your car, and from the activity breeds trouble dept., could be the source of your seepage. You say the crank seals have been replaced? You have had the crankshaft pulley off and oil pump out? New oil pump o ring? everything buttoned up right there? Circlip on correctly? Besides those spots, consider the other possible sources of oil from mid engine over to pass side -US- Oil filter lines, turbo line, oil pan , timing chain cover. Moving up you have head gasket to timing chain cover mating area, and behind that you have timing chain tensioner portal. At the top you have head gasket and valve cover. On the backside, you have the oil trap, with 3 hoses, 1 down to oil pan, and 2 heading topside, 1 for your metal line and the other to the pcv. And way over toward driver side, the infamous oil pressure sending unit. Most of this is visible from underneath, from wheel well and from topside. Take plastic off everywhere, support engine from beneath, remove top engine mount. Make sure everything is wiped clean as best you can. Get some bright lights, and run engine and see if you can view some seepage. The only spot you may have trouble viewing directly is behind the crank pulley. If you cannot see any seepage from the viewable areas, then I would suspect behind the pulley. Good luck- Tom S.
