I do not seem to be getting coolant into my oil r oil in the coolant. The smoke coming out of the oil is like a cigar burning, and will last for several minutes after I turn the car off. It looks to me like the next step in my troubleshooting is to pull the Turbo and look at the intake and exhaust? I’ve never done this before but I have pulled just about everything else off an engine before so it can’t be to bad, I just need to find the thing. Any thing special I need to know before I start?
I work out of state most of the time. I am home until Monday but out of town for a training on Saturday. I want to get this done before I leave out of state again so if I need to replace the turbo, I can order it and have it here when I come back for my daughter’s graduation on the 23rd. I will only be home from the 22nd to 24th and then out of state again, it’s my wife’s car and she and the kids plan to join me where I work for the summer once everyone is out of school, so I need to have the car fixed by the end of May.
OK, I am open to any and all suggestions of what I should do from here.
Thanks to everyone on the group for all your help and advice.
