I got a set for my '03 Aero about 16 months and 26k miles ago. They replaced the OEM Pirelli Rosso's that were worn out at 26k. $470 total, for the tires and delivery from Tirerack and installation at a local Indy.
I rotate the tires every 5k, and they look to have a good 10-15k remaining in them. I was hoping for 40k and I think they'll make it. The road noise is comparable to the Pirellis, ie perfectly acceptable. They lack the ultimate, 99th percentile level of grip of the Pirellis, but at all but the most extreme speeds they perform very well. The car still tears ass around curves and holds on nicely. I tend to drive conservatively in the rain (my inner motorcyclist) and have not found any issues there. They are merely adequate in the snow, not for plowing through 6", but for the dustings we get here in the DC area they do the job. The Pirellis were downright dangerous in the snow.
I've been completely satisfied with these tires and will consider them as the first option when it comes time for a new set. I can't fathom why anyone would pay 50-100% more for a different tire.
