I did. Those are not screws, they are tabs to align the circuit board. If your problem is the same as mine, and I'm betting it is from your description, it's that the batteries are siliconed or epoxied to the lid you are trying to remove AND to the circuit board. I was unable to get the lid off without tearing the batteries away from the circuit board. Haven't attempted repair yet, got disgusted and set it aside. The car seems to work fine meanwhile, though she (daughter) has to reset the sid message each time she gets in...
