That's a tough one to answer.
It could be a waterpump starting to give up its ghost (bad bearings).
The A/C issue could be related if it is the A/C compressor pulley bearing (A/C clutch) gone bad.
You need to open the hood with engine idling, locate the serpentine belt and look at the belt for side to side wobble and listen if the noise is coming from that area. If it is, I would probably tow it to your shop instead of risking a break down on the way and maybe much more in repair cost.
If you have the V6 engine with a timing belt, I would also be very careful so that it is not the timing belt pulleys going south.
