Does anyone stateside know anything about the seat movements being replaced to fix this due to a bad batch of seat parts? I have this problem and have seen it crop up here from time to time. I can’t link to the UK source of this info and can’t register at that that sight to try to contact the poster for more info (won’t let me use any of my email addresses). Hopefully someone knows something about this on our end. He says that Saab claimed the problem was related to the tolerances in the seat movement. This is what this board has suspected, but I haven’t heard of anyone getting this fully fixed. This guy’s repair was in February 2006 so the info could still be making its way here. A second owner also reports having the seat base replaced so there must be something to this.
