They must be doing something right, because hundreds-thousands? of cars sell off each day , for several years now. Just like any product, there are good ones and bad ones. Dealers who regularly sell on ebay don't want black marks- negative feedback- so it behooves them to offer good vehicles, and treat customers fairly. Most do, some don't, I've purchased several vehicles off ebay, all great deals. Communicate with the seller beforehand, see if you can arrange some contigency, so if it does not pass muster, you are not obligated. Despite what ebay rules say, that can be done. One thing though, do not get caught up in a bidding frenzy. Set your max, and that is it. Transportation for your vehicle , should you buy from afar, is another thing . Some professional, some are horrible. Another thing to do your research on. Bottom line, IMHO, not for everyone, but certainly a marketplace worth considering and shopping in. good luck- Tom S.
