Had identical sysmtoms as yours in March, 2006. The dealer replaced the TB + turbo. Bad turbo bearing caused the oil to travel to and soaked the TB. Cost ~$1.6K.
You can check to see if oil is oozing out of the hoses connected to the TB by removing/lifting the black plastic covering the engine oil filler's neck.
It didn't work for me, but you can reset the computer by disconnecting the Neg. battery terminal for 5 minutes AND manually reset the solenoid to see if the problem goes away.
To keep the car from dying in the morning (engine cold), you need to keep the pressure on the gas pedal for 2-3 minutes. After that it will run rough, but not stall.
In my case, SaabUSA sent a reembursment check because during the warranty period I complained about seeing oil around the turbo's output hose, but the dealer misdiagnosed it...Of course, the dealer said that the previous complaint/fix and current problem were not related. But I had the pictures of the leak around the turbo to prove it (digital camera rules!!!).
FYI-the TCS + CEL came on 6 months after the warranty had expired.
