We have seen and heard of quite a few cases where the crank shaft position sensor is acting up in that way.
So if the car starts and run good after about an hour of sitting and then it happens again.
If it happens again, try open the hood to speed up the cooling down process of engine because that's how a bad CKP sensor is acting up. Going bad when hot but working fine when cold.
