At least up to 2003 it was a matter of using the + button so that temp is displayed on SID, then push and hold the clear button for about 15 sec until CLEAR and SERVICED had come and gone on the display.
But for the 2004 and up it seems that you need to use the factory scan tool Tech 2 to reset the service message.
Try the first option and see if it works. Otherwise you need to find a shop with a Tech 2 or wait and see if it clears itself after a certain amount of starts as what AeroLady says.
