I would like to stick with M1 and have been using M1 15W50 on my 9K Aero (warm months only) with no problems. First 200K it was on Castrol 20W50. Engine runs like a champ and still on original headgasket!
9-5 is new to me but I want to treat it good. I drained dealers part syntetic right away and filled M1 0W40. Will send it to the lab in couple of weeks and go from there.
PS: noticed that Autozone sells Castrol 5W50 now- sounds like an ultimate oil for Aero engines.
