I have a question to put out to the group. And i don't want to have anybody to take ofence at anything I say because everybody on here has been very helpful and I have enjoyed the interactions on this board. My problem is wth my local dealer. since I have owned my car I have been taking it to the local dealer for repairs. I know there are other paces I can take it to and I can do the work myself. But due to time/ability constraints I have taken it to the dealer expecting my car to be wored on and receive good service, but hae met otherwise... a short list of what I have experienced...

1) the first time I had my car worked on there the left the oil pressure switch lose and had to go back and have them tighten it.
2) the second time they left a large pair of plyers resting on the axle. it took me a week to figure out what the terible noise was. the said it was my tranny and I needed a new one.
3) Then the next time my car was in they used it for a 25mi drive to a resturant accross town. they left the recipt in the car.
4) they have refued to work on my car, I wanted an alignment done after i got some new wheels and they said they would not do it because I had after maket stuff on my car...
5) then more recently they left off my air sheild and told me it fell off on the freeway and that the screw hole that held my air filter box was the proof...
6) and most recently i had them replace the temp sensor and they left two boxes of floor mats in my trunk. the paper ones. ( why did they even get in y trunk much less leave those in there????) and when I called to ask about it they tried to make it seem like it is my fault!

I know there is no legal action to take but seriously when I go to a dealership i expect good service. not to be treated poorly and besides the things they do to my car they speak down to me and act like i know nothing. like the other day they were trying to sell me a new water pump before even looking at the car. I have not ever been so treated by any car dealership and ab have wrtten saab usa about it and go a letter of apology back but it did not fix the problem. I mean i love my car but if the local dealer treats people I don't thin I will own one again for a long time unless things change.
sossy for the long rant but I mean what am I supposed to expect from a car maker and the people who represent them ( the delers...)
