I've complained about the weak A/C since I bought my 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero. I've brought it in several times and have gotten nowhere. I just had it repaired due to the rear vents not opening ($150 repair) and they told me afterwards that the A/C is now working optimally. Yesterday the temperature was 96 degrees and the A/C system was just unable to keep me cool, even at the LO setting. The conclusion is that the system is just completely underpowered. My Nissan Murano blasts you with cold air when set at 70 degrees. The Saab A/C will kick down the fan in short order when set for 70 degrees, even when it's still over 80 degrees in the car.
