As I answered further up. It seems you got really lucky and that only one bearing failed in the timing belt setup but that the belt managed to hang in their doing its job keeping the camshafts in time without making the pistons meat the valves (and engine its destiny).

The price it not outrageous in any way with fault tracing included and using suggested retail pricing on parts.

If they got all the parts in there properly and the timing belt tensioned to specs, you are good to go for another 60K miles at which you need to do this all over again.

You didn't say when the timingbelt and tensioner assembly was replaced last time?
If your car only had the freebi belt replacement at a Saab dealer at 60K, they didn't replace the tensioner assembly which is what's failing on these cars.

Picture below is from a timing belt tensioner pulley failure.

I have had cars driving in with similar damage where the belt managed to stay put and no damage occured to the engine, but that is just pure luck.
