squeaking OEM Akebono pads; recommendations to replace?

2002 Aero. About 8 months ago I had the front pads replaced with the 2005+ OEM Akebono pads, and they have been squeaking like crazy for a long time. I've brought the car in to a few different indy shops to have the squeaking fixed (with anti-squeal grease etc) but nothing has worked.
So I'm looking for a different pad, one that is quiet without putting out a huge amount of dust. I can live with some dust but I don't want to go back to the original pads (which are about the worst I've ever seen). I don't need Formula 1 braking performance, just a quiet pad that is not outrageously dusty.
Any recommendations would be most appreciated.
