Octane boost will say just that on the bottle. Injector cleaner will do the cleaning job.
The E85 here is ethanol 85% and 15% gas. I was referring to gas octanes in my previous post. We have 85RON - 91RON here. Being at altitude requires a different formula.
The higher the octane, the less likely the fuel mixture will detonate under pressure. As most of us Saabers have high compression turbocharged engines, the higher octane fuel prevents pre-detonation (as it requires more compression to ignite).
