I have seen mixed comments regarding what else would need to be upgraded when switching to E85. Of course I could ask this directly from Uhr or Taliaferro but maybe someone has already gone that path. What other changes than ECU update you did? The Swedish version seems to be anyway a bit different from the one listed on Taliaferro website, maybe that one is intended for a original E85 car.
Other questions that could be of interest also for a wider audience
- Is the steg 0 230 hp with E85 or petrol?
- Does the upgrade support full flexible fuel usage i.e. any mixture of petrol and E85?
- What could be the impact SW update and running E85 onto the sludge problems? Would the fume leaks increase with higher pressures and contribute to increased sludge forming. Or is the impact somehow the opposite and it is just good that all the crap gets blown away. And talking about fumes, would there be some difference in terms of residual products and sludge forming if you use ethanol or petrol?
