Woohoo!
Left my ride at a very reputable and highly recommended, yet unassuming, alignment shop located in the rear of a BP station.
The car is up on the machine and George just called me; it appears that $250, a new wheel bearing and a ruined set of tires, all my problems are solved!
Aero rear camber is out of spec and beyond tolerance levels. Two .03mm shims - Thanks Nick! - will bring that back into spec. Now, as for the mystery humming noise on right front.....front camber way out of spec...a while ago I hit a humongous pothole with that wheel at highway speeds...tire suffered irrepairable damage but all else seemed fine....not so...front right wheel was misaligned and eating the tires alive...hence the wob-wob-wob....from that corner....
They are going to loosen the front strut and adjust mounting holes to take care of this problem....good part is that all will be well and my next set of tires will not wear out in 10K...the bad is that this is very labor intensive....pads, rotors, ebrake...on three wheels....I'm parting with $315 but the peace of mind is worth it....
