Figured out how to remove the wind deflector and it was not too bad.
1) Pull the unbroken clip out using a screw driver to pry it out from the body. Pry between the outside vertical wall and the body, not under the horizontal area or near he arm connection. The thing is U shaped so pry under the outside vertical wall. There are two plastic bosses on he backside that plug into holes in the body and you need to pop these out to easily remove them.
2) Once the two arms are loose, use some pliers to squeeze the two plastic snaps holding the main body of the wind deflector and use a screw driver on the back side to pop it off the snap holders. Put a piece of cloth between the screw driver and the body so you don't scratch the paint.
3) This will leave two spring loaded pieces that may or may not interfere with the motion of the sunroof. Simply push them down out of the way and put a 1/4" piece of rubber hose in the opening to keep it out of the way. Since they are spring loaded, the rubber will stay in place. Now your sunroof will work fine.
You can easily add a wind new deflector in the future if you decide to spend the bucks....
