It sure seems like you have another problem going on too.

No, I don't know if it has to do with the euro setting or not. I have not tested all different settings and verified if one setting or the other will upset the system in different ways.

Since you now have one working remote, you say that when open the car using the remote, you still cannot lock the car with the key and then open the car again with key without alarm going off?

That means something is wrong since if the car is unlocked and supposedly unarmed, you should be able to at least use the key to lock and unlock the car without a problem.

I don't know what's going on and you might have to find a shop with a Tech 2 to read the fault codes stored on TWICE.
