Be Wary of Dealer Service Departments

The lower plastic strip (where the seat controls are located) on the outboard side of my 9-5's passenger seat has been ratting for the last month or two. Tried to tighten down the rear torx screw which holds the plastic trim tight but, to no avail, as the bolt or shaft it screws into keeps moving "in/out". The screw tightens, but doesn't snug down the plastic trim piece.
Took it to my local SAAB dealer today, who said he had never encountered this problem before, and wanted 1 hour of labor ($135) to take apart the seat, diagose the problem and order the right parts. Told him I'd live with the rattle.
On the way home stopped by a local trim shop. To make a long story short, they put three washers between the plastic and the torx screw and tightened it down. Rattle stopped immediately and saved me $135.
I know dealers are in business to make money, but to charge $135 plus is obscene.
