Yes serpentine belts can make that noise and an easy way to check is to have some spray lube handy while the noise is there and give the belt a light shower. If the noise goes away right away, it is just some dry belt squeak.
If you still hear the noise it could be the timing belt rubbing on the side walls of pulleys.
That is a lot more work to check out since you need to remove the timing cover to access the timing belt area.
The timing belt is coming up for replacement at 180K so maybe you want to have it checked out and perhaps do it early. Remeber to replace all the pulleys too when doing the timing belt.
Yes, the V6 have a lot more grunt noise than a 4 cyl engine at normal running but to make sure it is nothing else going on you need to find someone that knows what's normal and not in terms of noises.
