When at speed with the throttle open, throttle deposits should not be a problem. These would more of a concern at starting and idling.
How is the power at full throttle?
Gets on boost or?
MGS ok?
Starts ok hot?cold?
I would first suspect fouled plugs. Suggest BPCR7ES11 if it gets ample highway miles.
