over time a ridge occurs on the edge of the rotors as the pads wear into the rotors. This will often become encrusted with rust. Under the conditions you describe there is some flex or reverse torque in the system that causes the pads to come in contact with the ridge and they grab and make the noise. I have had this happen on previous Saabs. I used to file down the ridge on my 99's.
