Hey everyone,
thanks for the great posts about servicing the theft alarm by replacing the batteries as i will be doing this in the next day of two.
I have pulled fuse #14 to stop the middle of the night alarm going off and noticed that fuse #14 controls the siren and also the a/c. I was wondering if that meant that the a/c was not able to work. it seemed like it did not over the weekend. Any ill effects to the car by running the car without the fuse plugged in? Any effects on the a/c(other than not working?)
I have the batteries on hand but I do know I have a Batteries Plus store that is near by willing to do the work of soldering in the batteries. Any opinions about that? The price is negligably higher, rough;y $5 extra for them to do it right. Just wondering if it really is as hard as the person who posted the nice writeup said it was to get it right.
thanks again for the writeup whoever it was...
