Thanks to Saabnet for saving me lots of $ on other repairs. Now I've got a little puzzler.

About 3 weeks ago I found the car was losing coolant with white smoke. At the same time I was having some trouble with no crank cold starts. I gave up and took it to the dealer. They couldn't find a starting problem of course (battery & charging OK) but did find the Water Pump replaced July 2006 had failed. They also said the turbo was failing. I was getting some white smoke out of the tailpipe. Some days more than others. They replaced Water Pump on warranty. I told them to hold on the turbo for now. I tried some different fuel and techron and the starting has been mostly ok.
About three days later the car has set the low coolant alarm and sure enough it was low. On a cold start I get a bit of white smoke in/around the turbo and out the exhaust.
Took it to an indy shop for a second opinion and their price on turbo replacement. Their opinion was Turbo may be ok, but the banjo fitting(s) were leaking coolant. The quote was "I'm not ready to condemn this turbo". I asked them to run through one more cold start sequence and they stayed with their diagnosis. They replaced the banjo fittings.
3-4 days later it's again low on coolant. Smells like coolant when started. I open the hood and watch the engine on cold start. Around the turbo/exhaust connection AND the waste gate linkage(?) I see fluid that cooks off, smelling sweet like coolant, until hot.
Here's the question (sorry for the long post). Is this a sign of a coolant leak within the turbo? Could it just be a bad connection to the exhaust? Did my dealer get it right the first time? Car seems to run ok; good power. Smoke out of the exhaust is a little heavy white (not blue) right after starting, but then generally ok. Needing to add 1-2 cups to coolant twice a week.
Thanks in advance.
