ACC Code 22 and a missing SID.... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] ![]() ![]() |
I pulled out my SID on Monday to send away for repair, and since then the HVAC system is not maintaining cabin temperature properly when heat is required - it is always too cold, regardless of setting.
I get ACC codes of 19 and 22 when resetting the controller. Code 19 indicates a defective circulating pump for the V6, which I don't even have since my car is a L4.
Code 22 is not included in the WIS Trouble Code Table.
Could the Code 22 be related to the absent SID? Since the SID receives an outdoor temp signal from somewhere, does the ACC controller receive that, or other, HVAC dependent signals from the SID?
It is amazing what features do not work right with the SID gone. No click for the turn signals, ACC display is always in dim night-time mode, odometer display is always in full brilliance day-time mode, and there may be others - like the Code 22 maybe
