This is tough to pull off

Have you talked with an attorney familiar with consumer law? A car purchase is big money, and undoing the transaction is legally technical IF the facts are present. It is probably a little late to reject acceptance of the vehicle as a non-conforming good under the UCC, but this tactic can really get the attention of a dealer. Have you reviewed your state's particular statutes for lemon law, for motor vehicle dealer requirements and sale of used cars; then there are the motor vehicle repair shop laws for unworkmanlike repairs, you have a specific warranty under the "CPO", perhaps a separate contract of sale generated by the dealer, and all contracts have an element of good faith reasonableness written into them. It has been a long time since I checked Magnuson-Moss for used cars, a federal law applicable in all states, but who knows; M-M provides that the offending seller pay your attorneys fees if you prevail. You are within the one year statute of limitation for violations of the federal Truth in Lending law, and it is rare consumer credit paper that does not have at least some kind of technical violation on it. In the end, the facts matter big time. Showing the facts and technical defects, poor repairs, may mean that you have to come up with your own mechanic to document matters. Shop around for a consumer attorney, and buy an hour of time to know your options first. GM and the dealer did that when they wrote the papers you signed, and they will again if you push them to make the car right. Even the playing field a little with your own attorney, and maybe your own mechanic.
Just my two cents. DER
